- Crewed charter is charter with skipper or crew (captain, chef, stewardess).
- Bareboat charter is yacht charter without crew.
In the first case you take a cruising yacht which is fully prepared and ready to cruise the coastal waters for several days. You'll have a chef on board, an assistant (stewardess) and a professional skipper. You can bring as many guests as this boat has room for. It is worth pointing out that charters are usually limited to the services of a skipper. In such a situation, the cruise will be less comfortable as you will have to look for frequent anchorages, wasting time in restaurants for lunch and dinner. With a Bareboat charter, you plan the itinerary yourself, are fully responsible for the condition of the yacht and must return it to base strictly on the date specified in the charter contract.
